Vieroma’s amber color is natural and intentional. Although it is made with cacao, Vieroma is a cacao-based spirit—not a chocolate liqueur. Its color comes from the cacao fermentation and careful cacao infusion, which extracts natural aroma and flavor without adding heaviness or opacity. Dark brown or chocolate-colored liqueurs typically rely on alkalized cocoa powders, artificial flavors, and/or thickening agents (processes). Vieroma’s lighter amber tone reflects cacao’s natural delicate fruit flavor notes, its clarity, balance, and versatility in cocktails.
Vieroma’s cloudiness is a natural result of how it’s made. Similar to kombucha and other minimally processed craft beverages, we intentionally avoid over-filtering because doing so would strip away the cacao compounds that give Vieroma its depth, aroma, flavor, and character. By preserving the integrity of the cacao, subtle cloudiness or natural sediment may form over time. This is normal, safe, and a hallmark of a clean, thoughtfully made spirit. A gentle shake brings everything back into balance before enjoying.
